I’ve spent so much of my life planning birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries and all kinds of celebrations for my family and friends; always trying to make these moments feel truly special. I would spend hours scrolling online, only to feel underwhelmed by what was available, or find that the best experiences were sold out for months.
After I had my son in 2018, I wanted to create memories for us as a family — moments at weekends where we were present, mindful, and not looking at screens. Booking experiences became a lovely way to do this, but again, it took so much time, and too often the experience didn’t live up to what we hoped for.
City O’Clock is the company I wished existed.
So in 2025, I took a leap of faith and left my corporate career to build it. I had spent 12 years before that helping British founders secure investment, so I learned a thing or two along the way about what it takes to build a platform with purpose.
We vet every experience with care, so everything you see on City O’Clock represents the very best of England. I’m very proud of what we’ve built, and I hope it helps you create memories with your loved ones that feel thoughtful, mindful and truly special.
